An Evening with Twain

December 6 @ 7:00 pm8:30 pm

$5

The High Point Arts Council is excited to announce a special live performance by Mat Davidson at the Centennial Station Arts Center on Thursday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. Known throughout the music industry simply as Twain, Mat Davidson will be performing his hauntingly beautiful folk songs solo for this intimate performance. Tickets are just $5 and all proceeds will go directly to the artist.

Having built up quite an impressive music resume, Twain is widely known for being a past band member of successful bands like The Low Anthem and Spirit Family Reunion. Since parting ways with these groups, Twain continues to share his folk music on stage with well-known musicians like Langhorne Slim and the Felice Brothers. Twain’s music isn’t comparable to anything else out in the music world today. Blending heart-felt lyrics with soft vocals and intricate guitar melodies has landed Twain on some of the nations largest stages- including a 2018 appearance at the historic Newport Folk Festival.

The Centennial Station Arts Center is located at 121 S. Centennial Street in downtown High Point. Tickets for this event may be purchased in advance online for $5 or at the door on the night of the event if tickets are still available. Online tickets may be purchased at HighPointArts.org/events or over the phone at 336-889-2787 ext. 26. The Centennial Station cash bar will also be open for this event with specials on craft beer and wine. For more information contact the High Point Arts Council at programs@highpointart.org or at 336-889-2787 ext. 26.
